Tell the truth: We don't exaggerate our importance or make categorical claims about our offerings and capabilities. Admitting our mistakes when they happen is better in the long run and builds trust in our brand.
Avoid conflict: We don't make jokes at the expense of others or mock the competition. We focus on our own work, being witty only when appropriate.
Pay attention to detail: We meticulously check our communications before sending them. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and phrases that could be misinterpreted makes us lose the trust of our members.

Speak one-on-one: We imagine we're communicating with a single person, not a group. We generally address our members as ``you`` and refer to ourselves using the persona of ``The Curator.``
Test it out loud: The best way to check if text sounds friendly and natural is to read it aloud. If it sounds like something we would say in real life, it will sound that way to our members too.

Explain things simply: We choose simple expressions instead of complicated or confusing ones. We don't use technical jargon unless we know our members will understand it or the context justifies it.
Confidence: We try to avoid words like ``perhaps,`` ``could,`` ``should,`` and ``potentially``, which make us sound uncertain. We use factual, certain, and realistic language.
Focus on the benefits: We remember the emotional benefits and connect with our members' emotions whenever we can.
We are Interesting and Witty
Delight people: We use subtle sarcasm, a touch of cheekiness, and a certain arrogance. And we look for the unique characteristics of the event or experience to play with words.
Show our passion: Enthusiasm and passion are contagious. We use stories with fascinating details and angles to reinforce our image of sophistication and intrigue.
